Blue Card (MTM)
The International Blue Card is evidence of the holder’s ability to use their MTM discipline anywhere in the world
International employers and unions can use this as proof of the holder’s ability to use MTM correctly.
The certified training courses to become an MTM-Practitioner conclude with the “Blue Card” (MTM) – the internationally recognised certificate of competence in the practical use of the MTM method for planning and improving processes and work systems.
- Valid for three years

- An integral part of numerous employer/works council agreements
Renewing the “Blue Card” (MTM): Regular checks are necessary to guarantee the skills and knowledge of an MTM-Practitioner (at least every three years). Deutsche MTM-Vereinigung e. V. (German MTM Association) provides the most respected seal of quality in industrial engineering through the “Blue Card” (MTM) – and the reputation of an MTM-Practitioner associated with it.
